Brian Alfonso, J.D. - Owner

Brian Alfonso, J.D., is the founder and owner of ABL&Co. He leads the firm in delivering proactive tax, accounting, and advisory services that help entrepreneurs and individuals build stronger financial foundations and make informed decisions.

Brian believes ongoing education and a deep understanding of evolving tax laws are essential to effective tax planning. He stays current on changes in the tax landscape to identify opportunities, help clients navigate complexity, and develop strategies designed to minimize tax liability.

Before founding ABL&Co. in 2004, Brian was a Senior Associate in Arthur Andersen’s Tax Group, at that time one of the Big Five accounting firms. He advised global partners, executives, and employees on inpatriate and expatriate tax matters for clients including Accenture and Unocal.

Brian earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, with a focus on tax law. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his favorite hobbies, including; mountain biking, playing tennis, and golfing with his son, Logan, and his wife, Zsofia.
